Foundation in Science program at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) was set up with two main objectives namely: to provide strong and relevant pre medical education for future doctors and, as a feeder to degree programs in Medicine and Pharmacy faculties in CUCMS. With these in mind, very relevant curriculum were designed and implemented. All were achieved with close support from CUCMS faculties who eventually will welcome these products as their students and Malaysian’s doctors and pharmacists to be.

The staff (be it academic or administrative) will do everything within our means to provide relevant knowledge, training, environment, and support throughout the one year period in the program. On top of academic life, the program also offers enjoyable other substances through co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Students participate in healthy food campaign, debate competition, social trips, academic visits, sports tournaments, BBQ event with handicapped children, and the experience of organizing Foundation Night. In addition, the Foundation academic life also covers soft sciences such as communication skills, technology practices, and initial exposure to medicine and pharmacy fields. These are all done on top of their daily routine of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Mathematics lessons.

The CUCMS Foundation Program is recognized by local authorities namely: Malaysian Qualifications Agency and the Ministry of Higher Education. Although our program is mainly intended as the first gate to CUCMS faculties however, our products are well accepted by many other local and international medical institutions.
