CUCMS once again held “Meet the
Parents” session on December 9th, 2006 at the
university's main campus. It was witnessed by
academicians, students and parents who gathered to
discuss students' performance during their first
two semesters.
The event which started at 8.30
am was held in two sessions. The first session
took place at the university's auditorium, with
opening remarks from Dean of Faculty of Medicine,
Prof. Dr. Hatta Shaharom, followed by Dean of
Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Dr. Shaharuddin
Mohamad. The event was then enriched by Prof. Dr.
Abdul Latiff Mohamed, Dean for Postgraduate Study
cum Deputy Dean Clinical with his words of wisdom.
This session was later followed by an award giving
ceremony for students who achieved the Dean's List
recognition.
In the second session, parents
were personally invited to meet the academic staff
to discuss about the students' performance. It was
a fruitful event for parents and students, as well
as the university.
Thanks to the cooperative
administrative and academic staff, the “Meet the
Parents” session is a memorable and valuable event
that brought together 38 parents and the
University's
personnel. |
