On 17 November 2005, the Director of Training Division, Public Service Department Malaysia (JPA), Tuan Haji Lamien Sawiyo, accompanied by Puan Suraini Dollah and 7 other team members, attended a briefing session at Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) located at Street Mall 2, Cyberjaya.

The session started at 10 a.m. with the arrival of all the representatives from JPA. The group was welcomed by the President of CUCMS, YBhg Tan Sri Datuk Dr Johari Mat, Provost of CUCMS, Dr Mohammad Salmi Mohd Sohod, the Dean of Faculty Medicine, Prof Dr Mohamad Hatta Shaharom and the Dean of Pharmacy, Prof Dr Shaharuddin Mohd. The guests were then introduced to all members and staff of CUCMS and In-Fusion Solutions Sdn Bhd.

The details of the programmes offered were explained by each of the Faculty Dean i.e. Prof Dr Mohamad Hatta Shaharom (Faculty of Medicine), Prof Dr Shaharuddin Mohd (Faculty of Pharmacy) and Prof Dr Abdul Latif Mohamed (Faculty of Clinical & Research).

After the briefing session, the guests toured the campus to visit the amenities available such as the library, computer lab, anatomy library, science lab and problem based learning.

The main objective of the visit is to introduce and promote CUCMS as a premier destination for a quality education in medical sciences. CUCMS is strategically located and the excellent facilities create an ideal environment for the students and faculty.
