Center Of Research
Although CUCMS is a new institution, we are committed to make a quantum leap into research and post graduate education. We believe that institutions of higher learning should not only teach established knowledge but must also generate new knowledge. In the field of medicine and pharmacy, evolution of knowledge is happening at a rapid pace more so in the last 2 decades. The prime reason for this is novel findings from researchers working in both basic and clinical sciences. As a new institution, CUCMS is yet to contribute towards the advancement of knowledge. However, the academic staffs recruited as the pioneering batch of academics have between themselves contributed significantly towards knowledge generation in their respective fields of expertise. They will be building on their previous achievements and explore new frontiers in keeping abreast with the niche areas CUCMS intends to concentrate on. The following are areas of expertise which CUCMS will be focusing on:

Mental Health

■ Trans cultural and Forensic Psychiatry
■ Mental Health in Disaster / War Zones
■ Adolescent Psychiatry
■ Religious Psychotherapy
