Young MERCY was established with the endeavor to produce young humanitarian amongst young Malaysians and to instill the spirit of humanitarianism for generations to come mainly the young future doctors and pharmacists of Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS).
It was launched upon the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) and Mercy Malaysia on 22nd March 2007. |

| The purpose of Young MERCY is: |

• To implement the “YOUNG MERCY” curriculum programmes for students and young volunteers in medical relief and humanitarian aid.
• To have collaborative programmes and projects of mutual benefit and training/education programmes to raise competency among volunteers and trainers in medical relief and humanitarian aid.
