The President's Message

Welcome to the New Era of Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences

On 23 October 2010, Cyberjaya University College of Medical Sciences (CUCMS) celebrated its fifth anniversary. The year 2010 was very significant to us as we have reached many important milestones including moving from the building at the StreetMall to the new premises on Jalan Teknokrat 3. The transition has allowed us to experience many great challenges and employ a lot of state-of-the-art technology for the benefit of our students. These challenges and opportunities required new alignments of the university management as well as the commitment of dedicated academics and staff. I believe CUCMS is blessed because everybody at this university has devoted their time and passion in making sure that CUCMS propels towards success. As the President of CUCMS, it is of great honour to be with a great team of academics and administrators.

Even though CUCMS is fairly new on the Malaysian education map, we are determined to be the most innovative private medical university that aims to guide and nurture the new generation of medical practitioners towards achieving their desired career goals and serve the society with passion.

In terms of recognition, I am proud to say that CUCMS has gained a good reputation in the local arena. I have a vision to ensure that CUCMS will one day be one of the prestigious private universities locally and internationally. Moving towards that, we have to aggressively develop ourselves, strategise effectively and collectively and address challenges in tandem. We hope that we will produce graduates who are effective in a global, increasingly competitive economy and future healthcare professionals who also embrace great human values and principles.
